JSSH Architects, Inc. understands what strong partnerships are made of: Trust, Shared Goals, and Relationships. We have worked for over 30 years at providing excellence in architectural services to our clients. Our architects are creative, and conscientious in providing professional design and engineering services to our clients. Our clients expect design solutions that are aesthetic, functional, concise, civic-minded, and user friendly with a high degree of cost containment. Their expectations are our goals.

JSSH Architects, Inc. was formed in May of 1972 by Roger F. Johnson and Alvin D. Sheldon. The firm's work experience is a multi-discipline nature, primarily working with projects costing in the range of $300,000 to $40,000,000.



Staff

JSSH Architects, Inc. was formed in 1972 with a staff of four individuals. Our current staff has grown to include principal architects, vice presidents, registered architects, cadd draftspersons and support staff.


 

Roger F. Johnson, AIA
President

EDUCATION
  • Graduate of University of Minnesota, Bachelor of Arts Degree, 1961, Major Architecture, Additional Coursework at University of Minnesota

  • Registered Architect in the States of MN, WI, MI, IA, FL and LA.

GENERAL BACKGROUND

Mr. Johnson is one of the founding principals of JSSH Architects and supervised the day-to-day operations of the firm. His interest lies in the team building approach in our working partnerships, bringing together all parties to meet a common goal. He is also involved in staff development, benefiting the client by providing skilled, motivated and sensitive personnel for their project.

Mr. Johnson has worked in the areas of long-term health care, senior cooperative and condominium housing, independent and assisted senior housing and religious projects.

GENERAL BACKGROUND

Mr. Swenson joined JSSH Architects, Inc. in 1998 following with more than 10 years of experience in Minnesota as a Project Architect/Manager of educational and institutional projects.

Mr. Swenson has completed planning and architectural services for several senior housing providers. This work has involved facilities for Independent Living Apartments, assisted Living and Skilled Care Nursing Homes. Recent projects have involved remodeling, additions and new freestanding buildings.
